60 frames per second recording

The DR590X-1CH records super fluid videos at a high frame rate of 60 frames per second. This means videos look more lifelike and the dashcam can better catch details in fast moving objects thanks to reduced motion blur.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Optional Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi: The DR590X-2CH features built-in Wi-Fi to let you connect with the BlackVue App. A button lets you turn Wi-Fi on/off. Additionally, you can configure the Wi-Fi activation behavior in the settings (Auto Turn On, Auto Turn Off).

Native Parking Mode

With included Hardwiring cable DR590X can be hardwired to your vehicle’s fuse panel for Parking Mode with the included Hardwiring cable. The dashcam will switch to Parking Mode automatically when vehicle ignition is turned off. Voltage cutoff and timer can be set in the BlackVue App. Parking Mode accessories support DR590X Series is also compatible with all BlackVue Parking Mode Kits and Batteries.

Built-in Impact & Motion Detection

Automatically tags important files While driving, your BlackVue detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, it also detects movements*. Use the filters in the BlackVue App and Viewer All videos are tagged (Normal, Event, Parking Mode motion or time lapse), so that you can easily find the relevant ones in the BlackVue Viewer for Windows and Mac OS or the BlackVue App for Android and iOS.

High Frame Rate for Extra Fluidity

The advantage of 60FPS video capture The front camera records extra fluid videos at 60 frames per second, keeping all details sharp even in fast action. With 60fps, motion blur is much reduced compared to 30fps. That means your BlackVue can better capture details–like license plates–even in fast-moving objects. Note 1: the higher the image quality setting, the higher the bitrate and the bigger the file size. A bigger size will increase the time necessary to transfer a video file over Wi-Fi. Note 2: Remote Live View using BlackVue Cloud is not affected by the image quality and framerate settings.

Sleek Interface

Programmable proximity sensor Toggle audio recording ON and OFF by simply waving your hand in front of it. The sensor can also be configured to trigger Manual Event videos in the settings. Wi-Fi button Turn Wi-Fi ON/OFF with the push of a button. All actions are confirmed by a voice prompt.

External GPS Receiver (Optional)

The External GPS Receiver connects to the USB port to add speed and location data to your videos. Speed: speed data–in Km/h or Mph–will be overlaid in the video (can be turned off in the settings). Location: you can visualize the location of your vehicle in the BlackVue Viewer’s Map during video playback.
