The Sony CDX-DAB700U DAB/DAB+/DMB-R CD receiver lets you enjoy a wide range of digital radio entertainment. It picks up digital stations & analogue broadcasts (FM/AM) with very clear reception while you're on the road. The head unit from Sony is compatible with newer DAB+ and DMB-R on top of the regular DAB transmissions standard. The Sony DAB700U receiver comes supplied with a compact, highly sensitive DAB antenna which is tucked away to offer excellent signal reception, the powerful adhesive film allows quick, easy installation, with no need to drill holes or make other modifications to your vehicle.

Drivers can enjoy a wide range of digital radio entertainment with the first DAB/DAB+/DMB-R CD receiver from Sony. The new CDX-DAB700U pulls in your favourite digital stations and analogue broadcasts (FM/AM) for clear reception while you’re on the road. It’s the first head unit from Sony that’s compatible with regular DAB transmissions as well as the newer DAB+ and DMB-R standards that offer improved transmission efficiency.

The receiver comes supplied with a compact, highly sensitive DAB antenna that adheres discreetly inside the car windscreen to offer excellent signal reception. The powerful adhesive film allows quick, easy installation, with no need to drill holes or make other modifications to your vehicle.

If you’re driving in parts of the country with weak FM signal reception, a new Digital Clarity Tuner improves stereo channel separation. You’ll enjoy a natural, satisfying stereo soundstage even when you’re further away from a radio transmitter.

The high contrast, generously-sized 2-line display (max. 8digits in the 1st line and max. 12digits in the second line) offers detailed information such as dynamic label and station name. The head unit’s front panel flips down to reveal the CD loading slot. As an extra refinement, panel illumination can be selected from 35,000 colours to coordinate with your vehicle’s interior.

Alongside radio and CD sources, the CDX-DAB700U lets you enjoy crisp, clear digital music from other devices via the convenient front-mounted USB input. Hook up your iPod®/iPhone® or Walkman®, or connect a USB flash drive loaded with your favourite MP3 tracks. There’s also a standard 3.5mm jack socket for connecting MP3 players or other devices.

Automatic Level Optimiser is enabled by the processing power of Sony’s Advanced Sound Engine that also offers 7 Band Digital EQ, Time Alignment, Rear Bass Enhancer, Dynamic Loudness and a super-flexible active crossover.
